Chief Accountant
For our client, we are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
• Responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
• Perform closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with corporate and country legislation and guidance
• Preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
• Prepare internal and external audit schedules and respond to inquiries
• Prepare or review/approve monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Initiate and/ or participate in continuous improvement projects
• Working closely with R2R/P2P/O2C teams, Group Reporting, Group Tax, Business Controllers,
• Business Partners to make sure end-to-end processes are adhered to and performed with right quality
• Guarantees 100% compliance with all relevant local legislation (e.g. statutory accounting standards, tax law, civil law) and internal group accounting guidelines in cooperation with local tax advisors
Predpoklady úspešného kandidáta
• At least secondary education with specialization in accounting or economy
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (complex accounting)
• Knowledge of MS office (Excel and Word)
• Fluent English (knowledge of other languages will be an advantage)
• Knowledge of SAP, Business Intelligence, HFM/Oracle would be beneficiary
• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups and across cultures
