We are hiring a talented Accounting Operations Team Leader to join team located in Bratislava. The Team lead Accounting GL and operations will lead the Accounting Team and will ensure and set up efficient and compliant workflows to guarantee high quality for the transactions and processes within Accounting. The team lead will also strengthen the relationship between the accountants locally and the Munich central team.

Key Responsibilities: - Coach a team of general ledger accountants and operational accountants responsible for different regions and different accounting processes - Taking over responsibility for the team and ownership of its processes - Continuous development of the team and the team members both in accounting and technical knowledge as well as personal development areas - Focus on strategic thinking, leadership skills, business consulting, analytical skills, employee development, and project management skills - Give directions, train and coordinate the team to become more effective in providing the services to the customer: - Manage the team performance results, ensure business continuity during time off (scheduling in advance the vacation/training period, working attendance) - Assistance offered to team members related to accounting topics or finance systems (SharePoint, Service Now, SAP CAP, etc) - Provide process guidance, coaching and training to the team based on customer’s requirements - Keep the team motivated to deliver results at agreed standards - Conduct the recruiting process for new team members - Responsible for best practice research, recommendations and implementationsResponsibilities: - Manage GL Accounting activities for assigned Allianz Technology branches/subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP - Manage global processes as Provisions, Accruals and Deferrals as well as intercompany reconciliation and group consolidation - Participation of the preparation of monthly/quarterly and year end closing (IFRS/HGB) in accordance with the Allianz Technology SE reporting calendars - Close cooperation with the regional finance officers of the branches, subsidiaries and accounting teams - Perform analysis of Financial Statements to ensure compliance and integrity of financial reporting - Customer focus, keep customers informed and provide applicable information - Continuous enhancement of data quality on a global level by developing and analyzing meaningful KPI’S - Ad hoc project work (e.g. branch carve out) including analysis of deliverables as well as meeting deadlines / milestones and appropriate information and communication for the management - Driving improvements and implementation of global operation processes and quality assurance as well as the development of global policies and procedures regarding the areas of accounting in IFRS, German GAAP and Solvency 2

Predpoklady úspešného kandidáta

Requirements: - Strong academic background (preferably Accounting, Business Administration, Economics) - Good ability to interact with different stakeholders- Process improvement oriented - Good knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting (Knowledge in German GAAP is a plus) - SAP advanced user- Fluent in English, good communication skills (German or another European Language is a plus) - ACCA, CECCAR or similar diplomas are a plus- Knowledge of MS Office - Proven work experience as a team leader/coordinator/supervisorSkills: - Ability to adapt to on-going change and work in a fast-paced, deadline intensive environment - Pro-active behavior - Strong analytical, communication and influence skills - Strong management skills as problem solving, clear expectation management and establishment of trustful relationships - Strong interpersonal, intercultural, communication and organizational skills - Flexibility to work with different regions worldwide - Ability to think in processes and process dependencies as well as ensure deliverables are connected with operating plans - Strong ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet deadlines - Self-motivated and proven “can do” attitude
