- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major client - Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements - Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives - Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships - Exploring and understand key markets to identify potential new customers and accompany them through the product development funnel - Controlling performance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating and correcting performance - Ensuring the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner - Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams - Resolving any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust - Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts using key account metrics - Carrying out regular product price calculations in cooperation with internal specialist departments - Conduct and negotiate regular price discussions - Support during contract negotiations
- proven experience as key account manager, minimum 3 years of experience, - many years of professional experience in Western Europe, preferably in Germany, Austria, or many years of professional experience in a Western European company, - experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs, - market knowledge in medical devices industry preferable, - excellent organizational skills, - aptitude in problem-solving and negotiation, - BSc/BA in engineering, business administration, sales or relevant field, - strong communication and interpersonal skills, - ability to build relationships with professionals of all organizational levels, - readiness to travel (about 30 - 40 %), - acceptance to assume responsibility and readiness to work independently, - willingness to be mobile, flexible and open-minded, - languages Slovak + English or German as a must.
