For our client we are looking for a Systems Procurement Manager with 5+ years of experience (industry preferred).
- Drive procurement activities for allocated equipment (develop supplier panels, collecting engineering inputs, sending request for quotations, negotiating, Purchase Order awarding and claims management) - Together with engineering teams seek best technical and commercial solution - Curious to learn in detail allocated equipment for procurement - Develops purchasing strategy for allocated procurement lots - Negotiates and set price lists for Frame Agreements and standardisation initiatives - Communicates effectively with peers - Applies effectiveness and efficiency of operational procurement tasks - Participates in developing related procedures & process improvements within overall function - Ensures effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to company processes - Supports procurement department in achieving objectives - Ensure effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to company processes
Job specific qualifications: - Procurement experience (industry preferred) or entry from other discipline - Good social skills and reputation for integrity - Motivates peers and leads by example - Takes responsibility for ensuring best outcomes - Able to communicate at all levels - Promotes internal and external collaboration, based on the company values - Self motivated and capable of working in multi-functional teams within policies, regulations and rules - Experienced in use of basic methods in order to identify complex problems and ensures implementation of suitable holistic solutions - Advanced negotiation skills with knowledge in sourcing, bidding and category management - Self-motivated and capable of working in multi-functional teams ideally in a project enviroment Methodological skills: - Negotiation skills (Standard Procurement Lots) - Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon) - Knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management - Knowledge of SAP (SRM & MM) and MS-Office (Excel incl. Pivot, Powerpoint) - Knowledge of eProcurement solutions - Understanding of QA processes appropriate to Supply Markets - May have some project management experience - Ideally good market and product knowledge - Multicultural experience - Multilingual with Good English
