Job description
- Designing and sizing industrial instrumentation
- Working with pressure, temperature, level and flow measurement devices
- Preparing hook-up drawings, instrument sketches and technical documentation
- Reviewing and approving EIC documentation provided by suppliers and manufacturers
- Preparing instrument location plans, cable and junction box schedules, routing layouts, installation details and interconnection diagrams
- Supporting FAT and SAT activities
- Providing technical support during instrumentation installation and commissioning
- Supervising instrumentation suppliers and ensuring that all project documentation is complete, accurate and delivered on time
Requirements for the employee
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, or a related technical field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with industrial instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, level and flow measurement, as well as industrial electrical and automation systems
- Experience with instrument selection and sizing, P&IDs, datasheets, instrument indexes, hook-up drawings and related EIC engineering documentation
- Experience preparing and reviewing instrumentation and electrical drawings, including instrument location plans, cable and junction box schedules, routing layouts, installation details, interconnection and loop diagrams
- Experience reviewing supplier documentation and coordinating technical interfaces with instrumentation suppliers
- Experience supporting FAT, SAT, site installation and commissioning activities, with willingness to travel occasionally to supplier facilities and international project sites
- Familiarity with ATEX and SIL requirements
- Proficiency in one from systems:EPLAN Electric P8, COMOS, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical, AVEVA Instrumentation/Diagrams, SmartPlant Instrumentation or comparable CAE/CAD tools; EPLAN P8 is preferred
- Very good written and spoken English, at least B2 level
