Senior Endpoint Technology Specialist
This is a senior technical role for a hands-on expert in endpoint management and EUC technologies. The successful candidate will drive the integration, consolidation, standardisation, security, and operational excellence across all endpoints while collaborating with the broader IT Workplace team to create a seamless and integrated digital experience. A strong desire to further develop M365 expertise and work as part of a cross-functional IT Workplace function will be essential. Primarily site-based with flexibility to travel to other local sites when needed. Will participate in major project delivery activities and provide critical support during change windows and major incidents. Acts as the senior technical escalation point for all endpoint services and issues.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for endpoint management platforms including mainly Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and for legacy pourposes SCCM, Group Policy,related tools and Entra ID.

Lead the design, standardisation, and administration of endpoint deployment processes for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

Ensure endpoint security and compliance through effective patch management, encryption, conditional access, antivirus/EDR, and configuration baselines.

Oversee and optimise application packaging and deployment, ensuring secure and reliable delivery of software to end-user devices.

Drive harmonisation and standardisation of endpoint builds, policies, and device management practices across the company.

Collaborate closely with IT Security to ensure endpoint configurations align with security policies and industry best practices.

Provide technical leadership and act as an escalation point for endpoint-related incidents, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for endpoint architecture, build procedures, standards, and support guides.

Work in partnership with M365 Specialists to ensure integration and alignment of endpoint and Microsoft 365 services for a seamless and secure user experience.

Stay abreast of industry trends, Microsoft’s technology roadmap, and emerging endpoint solutions to drive continuous improvement of the IT workplace environment.

Requirements for the employee
Essential:
-
Proven experience managing enterprise endpoint environments (Windows, macOS, iOS/Android) in a technical leadership or engineering capacity.

Deep expertise in endpoint management platforms (Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM), OS deployment, application packaging, and patch management.

Strong knowledge of endpoint security and compliance frameworks (encryption, MFA, antivirus/EDR, conditional access, security baselines).

Experience with Active Directory Group Policy and hybrid identity environments.

Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD / EntraID fundamentals, particularly device management and compliance integration.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, able to resolve complex endpoint issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
- English spoken and written.
Preferred:

Microsoft certifications in endpoint management and/or M365 - Is a plus.
- Candidates without certification can also reply, hands on experience is valued.

PowerShell scripting experience for automation and configuration tasks.

Experience supporting endpoint environments & harmonisation in multi-business or M&A settings.
